Maria, thanks for a wonderful SUP distance lesson. although it was a little scarey for me outside the bay having not stood up on the ocean for many years, your attention to my needs and specific instructions were helpful and encouraging. As it turned out, I went SUPping in Kihei with my family several times throughout my vacation, got to try out different boards, and concentrated on turning out my wrist on the release and slicing–not slapping–the water on the entry. I can’t wait for the weather and water to warm up here in Washington DC so that I can get back out on the Potomac River soon. On my next trip to Maui I hope to be much improved and would like to get more SUP distance tips from you. Much Aloha, Jane
