I had read other reviews regarding SUP paddle boarding and we decided to go with Maria. You won’t be disappointed. I am just about to turn 60 but in good shape and Maria had me up on the board within 15 min. She was prompt with the class at her home. I think this was key for us because it was just the two of us and Maria. We could feel and try out her instructions on land. Once we got on the ocean, it was harder to hear her and of course the water didn’t stay still. She is very patient and encouraging. And she takes pictures for you. Her home is real close to the ocean so you don’t lose valuable time from your lesson. She is a great teacher.
